Our Story
Newcomer Service Inc. was founded by my parents, Tracy and Delores Newcomer, in the early 1980s in Nappanee, Indiana. In the early 2000s, the business was passed on to the next generation and continues to operate to this day.
In 2010, my wife Lisa and I moved to Holland, Michigan. As word spread that we worked on vehicles, the demand quickly grew—one of those good problems to have.
That growth led us to establish Newcomer Service & Repairables in 2014, along with obtaining our Michigan Automotive Class B and C dealer licenses. We specialized in purchasing damaged vehicles, restoring them to quality new or used condition, and selling them at fair, affordable prices.
In 2019, we were presented with the opportunity to expand further by acquiring Stu’s Welding’s Hitch and Plow installation and dealership operations.
Today, Newcomer Plow and Hitch offers a full range of services including plow installation and service, hitch installation, trailer repair, tire repair, alignments, and a variety of truck accessories.
